Serious Incident - Hospice Inpatient Facility

Hospice inpatient facilities must report any of the following:

  • Fire
  • A serious criminal act, or
  • Pending or actual strike action by its employees, and contingency plans for operation of the facility

This event is reportable if they occurred on premises covered by your facility's license.

If you are not licensed as a free-standing hospice inpatient facility, this requirement is not applicable.
